PetroDAS Remote

PetroDAS Remote is the configuration tool used to remotely access and setup units running the PetroDAS data acquisition and aggregation system.

PetroDAS Remote, via a specialized protocol, provides functionality of remote PetroDAS instances for all operation configurations and monitoring tasks including:

• existing or new dataflows
• diagnostics of PetroDAS and operating system parameters
• activation of new licensed functionality

This type of lightweight remote management allows office and field crews to monitor and change the running configuration of data acquisition and data aggregation operations. The use of a specialized protocol eliminates the need to establish interactive sessions on the rig system, and bandwidth-intensive interactive RDP/VNC/Citrix sessions.

The following diagram shows the dataflow between an operation center handling multiple operations, and multiple PetroDAS instances deployed on rig sites. 

Remote Monitoring

PetroDAS Remote offers a quick view of the status of an operation, showing digital readouts of every channel received, as well as a detailed status screen with every input and output in the system. 

Remote Diagnostics

In addition to the monitoring and configuration screens, PetroDAS Remote includes a diagnostics section for system and hardware health information of the remote system.
