Our goal is to provide end-to-end solutions that deliver sensor data to the end user in real-time, overcoming the usual interoperability issues that arise when multiple vendors are involved in the operations.
We specialize in real-time data acquisition and data flow control and our ability to understand our clients’ requirements is enhanced by our in-depth knowledge of data acquisition on the oil rig.
Software tools developed over several many years allow us to provide software and hardware solutions in record time thereby decreasing our clients’ time to market.
PetroDAQ products are used to acquire real-time data from surface sensors, MWD and mudlogging systems, aggregate and convert the data to different protocols and transmit that data off the rig to the Real Time Operating Center (RTOC). Operators and service contractors can bring the data directly into their own RTOC using industry standard protocols such as WITSML.
PetroDAQ’s line of products includes sensors, digital and analog Electronic Data Recorders (EDR) digital data aggregators, processing servers and rig-based displays. All products are designed and manufactured in our facilities in The Woodlands, Texas. Our staff of managers and engineers have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, industrial automation and control systems.
PetroDAQ has membership in a number of industry standards and professional organizations including Energistics, OPC Foundation, Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
Our clients include small and large service contractors, medium and large independent oil companies, national oil companies and oilfield equipment providers.
