DataScope

DataScope was written with the WITSML software developer in mind but is also a useful tool for the data management professional in the Real Time Operations Center (RTOC) as well as on the rig for determining the proper transmission of WITSML data from the rig to the RTOC.

DataScope is a powerful, easy to use and learn tool allowing the developer to write or modify WITSML code and quickly see the results. There’s no need to set up complex viewing windows and download an entire WITSML well just to see the particular log objects of interest. With DataScope you select the well of interest, drill down to the well bore and then the log objects, whether time-based or depth-based. Then, you simply drag and drop the object(s) of interest onto the DataScope canvas where the data is then plotted. Since only the data of interest is needed, only the data to be displayed on the screen is pulled from the WITSML Store, making the display of data much faster.
