It is a single-purpose device providing protocol conversion from any protocol to any other protocol. The Intelligent Appliance is a rugged, off-the-shelf solution built for the oilfield that is quick to implement, affordable and allows your personnel to focus on operations.

Supported Format Conversions

Each PetroDAQ Intelligent Appliance is built and pre-configured from the factory to fully support the input and output formats implemented in our PetroDAS data aggregation solution. Contractor specific formats are also fully supported. These specific WITS variations include BHI lithologies, Pason lagged depth channels. In addition, the native proprietary formats are supported for SLB ID³ and RigServ.

The Intelligent Appliance can convert WITS Input from below systems to WITSML 1.3.1.1 and WITSML 1.4.1:
